Moved by their blend of pacific and caribbean roots, the intensity of its oceans and its unpredictable currents is índigo. All the way from the tropics - crossing to the other side of the pond. índigo’s drive lies in finding rhythms with various oscillating nuances between percussive, groovy, energetic and bassy sounds. Focusing on sounds from Abya Yala and SWANA, índigo’s strives for cathartic dancefloors and conscious exchange through artistic expression. As seen through their work in Áspora, where they currently find themselves co-creating an artistic project with friends; drawing the spotlight to global South artists who are part of diasporas, moved by their personal migration tales.
