Lina Ehrentraut (*1993) lives and works in Leipzig. Their work combines comics, fashion, performative readings, illustration, and painting. Thematically, Lina explores everyday, social, and emotional aspects of human relationships, touching on sex and loneliness, often mixed with sci-fi elements. As part of the artist collective SQUASH, Lina publishes and organizes the Snail Eye comic festival as well as regular exhibitions and readings in Leipzig. In 2023, Lina co-founded the publishing house ROTORPRESS together with the bookstore ROTORBOOKS. Lina’s most recent publications include the comic Melek+ich (Max and Moritz Award for Best Debut, 2021, Edition Moderne) and DOGGY STYLE (2024, ROTORPRESS). A new book is coming this fall! :•)
