blechsonne is a DIY festival for adventurous music, discourse and community.
As a non-profit organization, blechsonne e.V., the festival is entirely realized by voluntary work and created by friends for friends (of friends).

We aim to amplify new and diverse music,
encourage collaboration and participation,
and most of all hold space for a new thriving community that looks after one another.

DIY is a movement.

blechsonne e.V.

blechsonne e.V. is a non-profit organization based in Halle (Saale), with over 30 active members across Germany and Austria.

As a group of music-loving friends, we started from the ground up – organizing small, sometimes unauthorized events, driven by the desire to bring in the bands and musicians we admired. Today, our focus is on curating diverse, forward-thinking festivals and events at the intersection of live music and electronic music, showcasing outstanding projects that often fly under the radar.

Our work is made possible through the support of Initiative Musik, Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung and Deutsche Stiftung für Engagement und Ehrenamt.
